Admissions Process
Thanks for your interest in becoming a student at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. The admission process at Cristo Rey includes an application and an interview. Cristo Rey does not require an admission test. Our admissions brochure is available in English and Spanish and is a great source of information but because our admissions process is so unique, we strongly encourage you visit us during one of our Information Sessions as well. To obtain our application for admission you may either download it or pick up a copy at the main office of the school. The application is saved in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. You may download a free copy of Acrobat Reader at www.adobe.com.
Once you have completed the application and collected all the necessary documents, you can mail it in, drop it off at the main office or schedule an appointment with Ms. Rabiela to personally turn it in. Applications are reviewed for initial eligibility after the February 9, 2010 deadline. Students who qualify up to this point go on to the second phase of the application process and are invited to interview along with their parents. Interviews will be held March 6 and 7, 2010. The Admissions Committee will meet soon after the interview weekend to review the applications and determine final admission. Final Decision letters are mailed at the end of March.
Incoming freshmen and their parents are required to attend a mandatory orientation on June 6, 2010. All incoming freshmen are also required to attend the mandatory three-week Training Institute during the summer.
