Transferring to Cristo Rey

Cristo Rey accepts a limited number of sophomore and junior transfers for the beginning of the school year.  Applications will be accepted in May for the 2010-2011 school year.  The deadline to submit an application and supporting documents is May 30, 2010.  The process and requirements for admissions for transfer students are much more demanding than for an incoming freshman.  We are looking for students with A’s and B’s and a clean discipline record. Courses already taken are also considered to ensure they fit with the curriculum at Cristo Rey.  The requirements for Spanish language skills are more demanding as well to ensure that students will be able to manage our dual language program.  Please note that transfer students are required to participate in the three week summer training orientation (dates are listed below on the Transfer Student Timeline).  Interested students should call Ms. Rabiela at (773) 890-6838.

May 31st – PSAS (Financial Aid application) due

June 7th-11th - Interviews

June 11th - Semester grades due

June 14th - Decision Letters mailed out

June 21st -25th First week of Summer Training Institute
