Nerissa is a Program Manager in the Corporate Work Study Program, which she joined 2011 with prior work at Cristo Rey as a counselor. During her time at Cristo Rey, she has also served as a co-moderator for National Honor Society and as a member of the VIVA Committee. Nerissa has over 10 years of HR experience in the financial services and renewable energy industries, with expertise in recruiting, employee counseling, payroll, benefits administration, training, and community outreach; she has earned her certification as an HR Generalist with the American Society of Employers. She earned her MA in Counseling from Oakland University and her BA from Michigan State University (Go Spartans!).
Joanna is a Program Manager of the Corporate Work Study Program and focuses on identifying the skills our students need in order to fulfill the jobs of the 21st century. Before coming to Cristo Rey in March of 2016, Joanna worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a senior consultant. Prior to Booz Allen, she worked at the Cristo Rey Network where she served as a Staff Associate, School Growth Coordinator, and most recently Associate Director of the Corporate Work Study Program. In between her time at the Cristo Rey Network, Joanna volunteered at a non-profit in Tacna, Peru teaching English and fundraising. Joanna received her BS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Ana is a Program Manager of the Corporate Work Study Program. She joined CWSP in 2009 as a Program Coordinator. In addition to managing day to day operations she provides development of the instructional/training program for all student employees. Ana attended Northern Illinois University and Illinois Institute of Art and obtained a BA in Merchandising and Marketing. Her work experience includes merchandising/marketing in the retail industry, as well as corporate and city government experience.
Jose is Vice President of the Corporate Work Study Program for Cristo Rey Jesuit High School and Christ The King Jesuit College Preparatory School. Jose leads the work program for both schools and the establishment of partnerships with 180 corporations, foundations and non-profits that annually generate nearly 7 million towards the students’ private college preparatory education. Jose joined Cristo Rey in 2001 as a program coordinator and became Director of the program in 2009. He has led the shared CWSP for both Chicago schools since 2012. Prior to Cristo Rey, Jose worked in Corporate Sponsorship for the Museum of Science and Industry. Jose serves on the board of the Advocate Bethany Community Health Fund, is a member of the Chairman’s Advisory Council for the Big Shoulders Fund and is an alumnus of Leadership Greater Chicago, class of 2013. Jose received a BA in Communication from DePaul University and an MBA in Management from Loyola University Chicago.
Lillie Sellers is Director of Corporate Relations for the Corporate Work Study Program of Cristo Rey and Christ The King Jesuit High Schools. Lillie focuses on developing partnerships with new job partners to expand as enrollment grows at Cristo Rey and Christ The King. She joined CWSP in 2013 following work in affordable housing policy and planning with the Metropolitan Planning Council, launching programs with employers and providing homeownership counseling with Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago, and talent management and training and youth leadership development in various roles. Lillie earned a BA from George Mason University and a certificate from the University of Chicago in Strategic Talent Management and Organizational Design in 2011. Lillie is also an alumna of Public Allies Chicago and a member of the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago.
Taylor Sticha is a Chicago native who returned home after graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 2013 to serve as a Cristo Rey Jesuit Volunteer. As part of her service as a full-time AmeriCorps volunteer, Taylor worked in the Corporate Work Study Office, taught Civics and Physical Education, was a freshman and junior advisor, moderated Student Council and Mock Trial and coached Track and Field. This spring, Taylor accepted a full-time position as a Work Study Coordinator.
