Get Involved!

Help improve inner-city education and connect with one of Chicago’s most innovative and nationally-replicated institutions - Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. Volunteers play a crucial role advancing the Cristo Rey mission and supporting our student body. Be an advocate for Cristo Rey and support school-related activities by volunteering during the school year. We need advocates of all types!
General volunteer opportunities include:
  • after-school tutoring in most subjects
  • chaperoning faith & service retreats; work-study visits
  • volunteering in the library or for extracurricular activities
  • coaching
For those looking to make a deeper commitment, consider joining a network of fellow professionals by becoming a member of our Leadership Advisory Council (LAC). Since 2002, the LAC has helped Cristo Rey through event committees, fundraising efforts, alumni networking, and school-related mentoring & volunteering opportunities. LAC members choose at least one way to devote their time and energy throughout the year. As a member of the LAC, you receive networking access with like-minded colleagues, public recognition throughout the year, and possibly discounted upgrades at major events.
