Cristo Rey Jesuit High School

Special Events

Events are a great way to support Cristo Rey - sponsor, volunteer, or attend! All event proceeds are used to support student scholarships. Each year, Cristo Rey distributes nearly $800,000 in financial aid and scholarships.

Las Mujeres De Cristo Rey
Las Mujeres de Cristo Rey is a women-led fundraising event created in by the women of the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School to the support art education and to introduce new friends to the Cristo Rey mission. The event draws a range of successful, community minded guests from a variety of different professional backgrounds. Guests will enjoy Mexican-influenced appetizers, wine and specialty cocktails, and meet students and teachers who will share more about the school’s mission. All proceeds from the evening benefit the Art Fund which provides student access to the arts.

This signature fundraising event was created in 1998 when Cristo Rey was two years old to help provide scholarships for our students. Our annual gathering of friends draws nearly 700 professionals from throughout Chicagoland to celebrate the students and families of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. Save the date for our annual ¡VIVA! Celebration -- May 3, 2018 at Morgan Manufacturing.
For 14 years, Cristo Rey has hosted this prestigious outing that brings together Chicago’s leading business and philanthropic professionals for a day of healthy competition, all to help raise funds for student scholarships. Each year, through sponsorships, foursomes, the raffle, live auction and generous individuals, the event raises nearly $100,000.
