Mission

The mission of organization is to uphold traditional Mexican Folk Dancing in the Cristo Rey community.

 Membership

• Expressed interest in joining the group
• No dance experience necessary
• Must attend practice regularly and must be punctual 
• Must be willing to perform at school events
• Students in AA can practice but may not perform
• Cooperation, Respect and a positive attitude are a prerequisite
• An inordinate amount of unexcused absences will prohibit students from performing

Structure

The following responsibilities will be shared equally, on a rotating basis, among the dancers.  These responsibilities are evolving and may change over time.

• Attendance
• Warm up
• Step review
• Setup
• Cool down

Our Student Council representative will be elected by a combination of factors including seniority, majority rule and current student council membership.  At the end of each quarter, the group will evaluate their representative.  If the group is not happy with their performance they have the option to reelect a representative
