Cristo Rey Jesuit High School

Why Cristo Rey?

Thank you for your interest in becoming a student at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School! We are a Jesuit Catholic, coed, dual language high school located in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood. Our mission is to provide a Catholic, college prep education to students from Spanish speaking families who otherwise couldn't afford a Catholic high school. We do this through our unique work study model, the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP).

Cristo Rey students receive a rigorous college prep education. Our students also take two classes every year completely in Spanish. This ensures that our students are completely proficient in both English and Spanish upon graduation. Cristo Rey is guided by the Jesuit principal of “cura personalis” (care for the whole person). Our focus is on educating the whole person: mentally, physically, and spiritually. CWSP adds another dimension to cura personalis by providing our students with corporate work experience while still in high school.

As you can see, our school is very unique! We invite you to explore our Admissions pages, as well as the rest of our site, to discover more about the process of applying, tuition, financial aid, visiting us, our requirements for admission and CWSP. We offer several Information sessions throughout the fall and winter and our Shadow Day program runs from October through February.

Please feel free to call or email me if I can be of any assistance to you. I look forward to meeting you soon!
