Cristo Rey Jesuit High School

Our Community

Cristo Rey follows the Jesuit principle of "cura personalis,” a Latin phrase that means "care for the person". It is our mission to create a community of well-rounded leaders through student life, athletics, service, and campus ministry.

Cristo Rey students have the opportunity to participate in more than 25 extra-curricular activities that enable them to develop leadership skills, work cooperatively with others, and grow emotionally, spiritually and intellectually. In addition, students are required to complete community service hours each year in order to develop a broader understanding of the social justice issues facing their communities.

As a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, faith formation is an essential component of our community. In addition to developing students who are intellectually competent and work experienced, we desire to form students who are religious, loving, open to growth, and committed to justice.
