College Counseling

100% of Cristo Rey Students are Accepted to College

The main goal of the College Counseling Program is to empower students to have successful and fulfilling careers by enrolling in a college that is appropriate to their individual strengths and interests. College counselors help students think deeply and carefully about their talents and aspirations for their future. Parents come into the process with excitement and concerns. Therefore, we pride ourselves on communicating clearly and promptly with families, providing them the information they need to support their son or daughter throughout high school.

College counselors guide students individually on college planning, the college application process, ACT and SAT Testing, financial aid, scholarships, summer enrichment programs, and offer after school college application workshops.

Each year, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School hosts approximately 75 college admission representatives who provide students with an overview of the colleges they represent as well as general information about the college application process. College representatives will converse with students in a more personalized setting during asesoria or after school. The school also hosts two college fairs annually, which are attended by the entire student population. Cristo Rey is a college-bound culture, and one hundred percent of our students are accepted to college.
