In addition, I would like to invite our current college alumni to The LaSalle Network and Cristo Rey Career Development Conference on Friday, June 10 at Cristo Rey. The event will offer opportunities for current alumni in college from Cristo Rey, and sister schools Cristo Rey St. Martin and Christ The King Jesuit College Prep, to enhance their career development understanding and become great candidates for potential internships and job opportunities. The event will feature sessions on resume/cover letter best practices, LinkedIn workshop, offer negotiations, leveraging CWSP, job/internship search 101, and more! Run the Rey 5K

We were thrilled to see many alumni and  friends come back to campus for the Run the Rey Hybrid 5K on April 2. If you'd like to be involved in planning for next year's Run the Rey, or if you still want purchase a limited edition Run the Rey Sentrock

On March 31, the College Counseling team welcomed 12 alumni to speak to the current juniors about their college application experience and transition to college. If you are interested in volunteering for future events email Citlally Delgado.

Alumni for Jobs Forum & Social

Hosted by the John Buck Company and CR alum and Board Member Guillermo Cruz of Aon Corporation, join us to talk about widening our CWSP reach with CR alumni who work for participating and prospective job partners. RSVP here.

• CURRENT COLLEGE STUDENTS: Current college students, please complete your Spring Check-in Form for the Manager of Alumni Support. While check-ins are optional, it is important for us to know how you are doing in college and what what we can do to support you if you are experiencing challenges. Participants will be entered into a raffle to win a $50 gift card to their place of choice!
  
  
• SUMMER BRIDGE VOLUNTEERS: We are looking for volunteers to teach Corporate Work Study Summer Business Training courses for incoming freshmen this summer during a three-week Bridge program in July. Please contact Taylor Sticha for more information. 
  
  

• JESUIT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM: College seniors and recent grads - Join the Cristo Rey community as a Jesuit Volunteer and have a meaningful impact on students while gaining real-world work experience. Applications for the 2022-23 cohort must be submitted by May 20. Learn more and apply today!
  
  

• FR. FOLEY VIDEO: Cristo Rey founding president Fr. John Foley visited the school to have a conversation with alum and Board Member, Guillermo Cruz '03. Cristo Rey's premier fundraising event ¡VIVA! is back! Join us at the Bridgeport Art Center on Thursday, May 5, 2022 as we celebrate 25 years of Cristo Rey. Festivities include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, seated dinner, and entertainment featuring Cristo Rey's student Ballet Folklorico dancers. After dinner, kick up your heels with CR alum DJ Mayhem, Martin Arredondo '12. A cash and prize raffle will be held, and live auction items will be announced soon. Get your alumni discounted tickets today!
