The School that Works

Since 1996, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School has provided students with a rigorous college-prep education through a thriving and economically sustainable educational model - the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP). More than 200 civically-engaged businesses of all sizes and industries throughout Chicago hire our talented students, who serve as reliable, productive and cost-effective employees.

The CWSP is a shared program of Christ the King Jesuit High School and Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. These two high schools exclusively serve students with limited economic resources. Via the CWSP, students earn nearly 70% of their tuition, making the dream of a safe, affordable, quality college prep education a reality.

Students in the CWSP gain valuable work experience and cultivate a strong network of professional relationships that will benefit them for a lifetime. Our job partners benefit as well and report that having students in their offices gives them a boost, too.

We are incredibly grateful for our job partners' support of the CWSP as Cristo Rey would not exist without them. We invite you to join the movement in transforming the lives of our students, families and corporate partners.
