Volunteer during Summer Bridge 2022
Prepare the Class of 2026 for their Cristo Rey Experience
Cristo Rey is preparing to welcome 150 freshmen into the Class of 2026 this summer. To prepare them for their high school and Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) experience, all freshmen will participate in a three-week Summer Bridge program at the school. Throughout the month of July, they will receive 45+ hours of academic and executive functioning programming, and daily opportunities for school orientation and community building.
Each afternoon of Bridge will focus on preparing students for their CWSP experience with a daily technology lesson and workplace training modules. This holistic Bridge program ensures that each Cristo Rey student is ready for their college-preparatory education and professional work experience as promised in our mission.
JOIN US! Volunteers are needed to teach the workplace training modules.
Individuals, companies, and alumni who are passionate about preparing the next generation of ambitious, ethical, and diverse talent are invited to volunteer.
Lesson plans and class materials are provided for each of the one-hour workshops and will be shared with volunteers two weeks prior to the class date. No teaching experience required! Courses include workplace communication, professionalism, email skills, notetaking, business etiquette, and ethics.
