The Presidential Legacy Scholarship (CLOSED)

*PREFERENCE for students with relatives who attend(ed) Cristo Rey

In gratitude for decades of service to the families of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, scholarship funds were established in honor of Fr. John Foley, S.J. and Fr. James Gartland S.J., the first and second Presidents of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School.

The Fr. Foley-Fr. Gartland Legacy Scholarship will encourage Christian leadership while providing financial assistance to families that sacrifice for their children's education, especially those that have sent multiple family members to Cristo Rey.

Eligibility and Obligations

• Demonstrated financial need
• Students with other family members (parents, older siblings, cousins, etc.) who attend(ed) Cristo Rey
• Show a commitment to becoming a Christian leader for others
• Maintain good Academic and Work Study standing
• Write thank-you letters when requested

Award

• Up to $2,500 for one year
