Irish Fellowship Educational & Cultural Foundation (CLOSED)

*'Underclassmen' who are of partial Irish descent (preferred).

The Irish Fellowship Educational and Cultural Foundation is a nonprofit organization established by the Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago to provide assistance to high school students of Irish descent. Usually it is awarded to one student, preferably but not limited to someone of partial Irish descent, who demonstrates need. Priority is given to freshmen and sophomore students.

Eligibility and Obligations

  • Preferably partial Irish descent, though all Cristo Rey students may apply
  • Preferably a freshman or sophomore
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Keep in good behavioral standing
  • Write occasional thank-you letters, visit with donors during visits
