The Orange Crush Social Athletic Club (SAC) provides scholarship opportunities to high school and college bound students from Chicago that are actively involved in competitive sports and also achieve educational excellence. This organization was founded by men who grew up in the Little Village neighborhood and used sports as an outlet from the daily challenges they faced on their neighborhood streets. The recipient will be chosen based on their academic standing and passion for sports in their last semester of eighth grade or first semester of high school.
Eligibility and Obligations
- Be a freshman student
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Be involved in at least one athletic team in school or local Chicago Park Districts
- Attend some Orange Crush SAC events to speak about scholarship

Award
Up to $2,950; renewable if student maintains eligibility
