Cristo Rey's Virtual Ofrenda
Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a day of celebration for Mexican Americans. Rather than grieve over the loss of a beloved family or friend, we commemorate the lives of loved ones we have lost and welcome the return of their spirits. Each year at Cristo Rey, we build an altar – ofrenda – to guide the souls of our loved ones back home. Our ofrenda is adorned with pictures, candles, flowers, food, and more. This year, we remember those we have lost in our community through this virtual ofrenda.
Loved ones are listed alphabetically by first name. Click on name to expand.
