Tom and Betsy Flanagan Scholarship (CLOSED)

For students who exhibit a strong commitment to academic excellence and demonstrate financial need and who have achieved measurable success through participation in the Corporate Work Study Program. The Flanagan scholarship aims to provide a renewable scholarship to attend Cristo Rey Jesuit High  School beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.

Eligibility and Obligations:

• Applicant must be a sophomore (‘29), junior(’28) or senior (’27)

• Student must demonstrate financial need

• Student should be in the top quartile of their class and have a job placement through the CWSP

• Applicant must complete the application online

  ·       Applicants will meet with Tom and Betsy Flanagan as part of the application and selection process

  ·       Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.00 or above

  ·       Remain a student in good standing

  ·       Must write thank-you letter to donor

  ·       Meet with donor, if requested

Award: $3,000 per year, renewable

Eligibility for Renewal: Student must reapply annually and continue to meet all existing criteria.

Deadline: Online applications are accepted March 1 - April 30 each academic year. It is the student's responsibility to make sure applications are completed on time and all required documentation is submitted by the deadline.
