Junior League of Chicago Scholarship (CLOSED)

For students who demonstrate dedication to service in their community or have an interest in volunteering in their community. The Junior League of Chicago (JLC) aims to provide a 4-year renewable scholarship to one incoming freshman attending Cristo Rey Jesuit High School beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.
 

Eligibility and Obligations:

  • Applicant must be an incoming freshmen
  • Student must demonstrate financial need
  • Preference will be given to students with an interest in or history of community service.
  • Aplicant must complete the application online
  • Remain a student in good standing
  • Meet with donor, if requested
  • Attend the annual scholarship breakfast

Award: $3,000 per year

Eligibility for Renewal:

  • Student must reapply annually and continue to meet all existing criteria
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale at Cristo Rey.
