CLOSED - The Jim and Mary Norton Scholarship (for Incoming Freshmen Only)

The Jim and Mary Norton Scholarship Fund honors a legacy of generosity and belief in young people. The Norton’s commitment to education and to opening doors of opportunity for students at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago.

For students who demonstrate dedication to academics and experience financial need. The Jim and Mary Norton Scholarship honors a legacy of generosity and belief in young people and aims to provide a  4-year renewable scholarship to attend Cristo Rey Jesuit High School beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.

Eligibility and Obligations:

  • Applicant must be an incoming freshmen

  • Student must demonstrate financial need

  • Applicant must complete the application online

  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 or above

  • Remain a student in good standing

  • Must write thank-you letter to donor

  • Meet with donor, if requested

 

Award: $3,000 per year, renewable

  • Student must reapply annually and continue to meet all existing criteria.
