Cristo Rey featured in America Magazine

America Magazine, the Jesuit Faith and Culture, puts the spotlight on Cristo Rey in its October 29 issue with eight-year CWSP partner BMO Harris Bank and two of our leaders of tomorrow, alums Cristina Garcia Chambers ('07) and Edwin Flores ('08).

Cristo Rey was also featured in the October 1 issue, which highlighted Winston & Strawn and Steve Schulte, a CWSP partner with us for 19 years. Steve's support reaches even beyond Winston & Strawn to his family's GOLF (Greater Organization for the Less Fortunate)  Scholarship Fund, which has provided college scholarships to Cristo Rey students for the last 10 years.  Alums Veronica Cortez ('04) and Abraham Carpio ('14) were both in the magazine as representatives of our mission in action. Carpio was a recipient of the Schulte family's GOLF scholarship to attend Marquette University, and now serves as a Jesuit volunteer for Cristo Rey Baltimore!

In addition to the magazine, you can find Cristo Rey mentioned on americamagazine.org, as well as on their Jesuitical podcasts.

We are thankful for all our partners for believing in our mission and allowing our students to excel and grow through their companies. Check out the feature here.
